1) Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly so we can help secure your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security risk.

2) Course Access and License

When you purchase a course or subscribe to the platform, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the course materials for your personal learning purposes.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transmit, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit course materials except as explicitly permitted.
• You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access the content using your account.
• You may not remove or alter proprietary notices, watermarks, or access controls.

3) Payments, Taxes, and Refunds

Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the payment method you provide for purchases, subscriptions, and any applicable taxes.

Refund eligibility: If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of purchase and have completed less than 20% of the course, you may request a refund. We may ask for order details and usage confirmation to process your request.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing time can vary by payment provider.

4) Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

• Engage in unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape protected content, or probe platform security.
• Upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt service operations.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users, instructors, or our staff.
• Use the service to infringe intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting access, or terminating accounts.

5) User Content and Feedback

If you submit content (such as comments, assignments, or feedback), you retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for operating, improving, and marketing the platform (for example, showcasing anonymized testimonials, where allowed).

You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6) Intellectual Property

All platform content, including videos, illustrations, text, templates, designs, trademarks, and logos, is owned by Illustration Academy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

7) Availability, Updates, and Changes

We work to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service (including content libraries) at any time, including for maintenance, updates, or security.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via email or prominent notices on the platform. Continued use after changes become effective indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

8) Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Illustration Academy and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or if required by law. You may stop using the platform at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-related provisions.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws as determined by the platform’s operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
